Cultural

There are Roman Archaeological sites at Aspendos (pictured right) Pergamon (1 hour), and Side (40 mins), where there are also free evening concerts amid the ruins and columns throughout the summer. Aspendos and Pergamon are both near the city of Antalya, and visits to these sites can be combined with visiting the Old Harbour, Clock Tower, Hadrian’s Arch in Antalya as well as the nearby Duden Waterfalls just outside the city.

Sport

Golf at numerous world-famous courses at Belek (only 45 minutes from the villa). Go-Karting. Bungee Jumping. White water rafting. Tennis courts in Alanya or nearby hotels.

Sightseeing

Boating on River Manavgat to nearby small waterfalls. Sea World with dolphins. Drives alongside the River Dim into the mountains. Boat trips from Alanya marina which go out to sea round the castle headland and also makes swimming stops at little coves.

Overnight Excursions

Visit to Ankara, Turkey's capital city. Kyrenia, North Cyprus, 3.5 hours by Fastcraft. Trip to Cappadocia with its underground rock dwellings, and balloon rides over the rock formations and rich fertile valleys.
